er Roadtrip 2009 begins...traveled from Redmond to Spokane today via I90 East accompanied by Journey, Willie Nelson, and of course, Michael Jackson keeping us company. Billie Jean, Thriller, Beat It, etc...lots of fun. Thinking of how we can use the music and do something creative with the Tolt students. Of course, a coffee stop in Ellensburg by the CWU campus was necessary. While there, we visited with a barrista who we know from our days at the Leavenworth Starbucks. Lunch at "Cow Creek Merc" in Ritzville, one of our favorite "old school" eateries along the Moses Lake stretch. 
Arrived in Spokane to the end of Hoopfest 2009, the 20th year this basketball event has taken place here. As every year, we run into teams/players from MT and enjoy lengthy conversatons with these folks. It is amazing the commonalities when we start to drop names/locatio
ns affiliated with MT hoop action. Always brings a smile to our faces :). Tom registered for his state school admin. conference and will attend sessions tomorrow and Tuesday morning. While in Spokane, we are privileged to stay at the beautiful historic Davenport Hotel for a couple nights. Traveling to Missoula Tuesday afternoon, so we will sign off for now an
